Stixy is awhiteboard collaboration tool launched in beta in September 2007.

The free service gives you a good way to organize calendars and tasks with an easy-to-use whiteboard tool. Its collaborative features make it great for projects that need to be shared and managed. Some new functionality that’s been added with the public release include the addition of a tag filter so finding items is easier, and improved speed and stability. One major point of differentiation is Stixy’s free-form approach for utilizing a whiteboard tool in order to manage any aspect of your life. This lets you, your family or your team create the parameters for your needs. This reduces the need for “expert” use with structured services like Microsoft Office or even other web-based applications like Basecamp or WhoDoes, which is a recently launched project management tool. If free-form appeals to you, then Stixy can be used for multiple purposes.
Limitations:
No drawing tools. This application offers a reasonable means to share files of almost any type, but offres no means to highlight, draw simple shapes or perform text markup.
